Interferential Therapy
Interferential Therapy works by stimulating peripheral nerves with two medium frequency currents sent through pad electrodes. This is meant to boost the body's natural process for responding to pain, muscle stimulation, increase blood flow and the reduction of local oedema. IFT can be used in treatment of several musculoskeletal conditions such as:
- Lateral epicondylitis
- Frozen shoulder
- Osteoarthritis
- Bursitis
- Tendinitis
- Fractures

Ultrasound Therapy
Ultrasound therapy uses high frequency sound waves that cause vibrations and movement of cellular fluids in the treatment areas. Ultrasound can be used for conditions like:
- Ligament Sprains
- Muscle Strains
- Tendinopathies
- Metatarsalgia
- Impingement Syndrome
- Bursitis
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Osteoarthritis
- Scar Tissue Adhesion

Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave Therapy is a noninvasive treatment that involves delivery of shockwaves to injured soft tissues to reduce pain and promote healing. It can be used in physical therapy for pain reduction, increase in metabolism at the cellular level, promote neovascularization, and healing. It is primarily used in treatment of various musculoskeletal disorders such as:
- Plantar fasciitis
- Medial tibial stress syndrome (MTSS)
- Adhesive capsulitis
- Upper and lower extremity tendinopathies
- Neck and Low back pain

Shortwave Diathermy
Shortwave Therapy is the application of high frequency electromagnetic energy to give a deeper heating effect to the body part. It can improve cell membrane permeability to fluid which helps to reduces inflammation and aids in both soft tissue and bone healing. It has found this therapy is beneficial for:
- Muscle injuries
- Inflammatory conditions
- Bony Injuries (fractures or bone bruising)
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Soft tissue injuries

Traction
Traction is a treatment option that uses a longitudinal force along the axis of the spinal column. Parts of the spinal column are pulled in opposite directions to stabilize or change the position of damaged aspects of the spine. Traction is a manual ‘stretching’ of the spine which reduces pressure on the discs and therefore reduces the individual's pain. It can be given either manually by a physiotherapist or mechanically using a traction table. It is most commonly used to treat:
- Degenerative Disc Disease
- Herniated Discs
- Facet Disease
- Sciatica
- Foramina Stenosis

Laser Therapy
L.A.S.E.R. stands for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. Laser Therapy involves the application of low-intensity laser light to relieve pain caused due to the damage of soft tissue. It facilitates tissue repair and restores normal cell function. Laser Therapy has been used in treatment of several musculoskeletal conditions including:
- Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
- Fibromyalgia
- Osteoarthritis
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Temporomandibular Joint Disorders
- Hip and shoulder bursitis

Manual Therapy
Manual therapy is an application of hands-on techniques by a skilled therapist to manipulate joints and the spine. Hands-on manipulation is very effective in decreasing pain, reducing tissue tension, and improving functional mobility. Manual therapy techniques may include:
- Manual massage (Soft Tissue Manipulation)
- Stretching
- Joint Mobilization
- Joint Manipulation

Exercise Therapy
Therapeutic exercise involves movement prescribed to correct impairments, restore muscular and skeletal function and/or maintain a state of well-being. Therapeutic exercise may include:
- Aerobic And Endurance Conditioning and Reconditioning
- Breathing Exercises
- Coordination Exercises
- Developmental Activities Training
- Movement Pattern Training
- Neuromotor Development Activities Training
- Neuromuscular Education
- Range Of Motion Exercises
- Soft Tissue Stretching
- Relaxation Exercises
- Strength, Power, and Endurance Exercises
Dry Needling
Dry needling is a treatment technique in which fine, sterile needles are inserted into trigger points or tight muscle bands to reduce pain and muscle tension. It helps improve muscle function, increase blood flow, and promote tissue healing.
Dry needling is commonly used to treat:
- Myofascial pain
- Muscle tightness and spasms
- Neck and back pain
- Sports-related muscle injuries
- Chronic musculoskeletal pain
Cupping Therapy
Cupping therapy is a treatment technique that uses suction cups placed on the skin to improve blood circulation, reduce muscle tension, and promote healing. The suction helps relieve pain, decrease stiffness, and support recovery of soft tissues.
Cupping therapy is commonly used to treat:
- Muscle pain and tightness
- Myofascial pain
- Neck and back pain
- Sports-related muscle injuries
- Chronic musculoskeletal conditions

Muscle Scrapping
Muscle scraping is a hands-on technique that uses specialized tools to treat soft tissue restrictions. It helps break down adhesions, improve blood flow, reduce pain, and restore normal movement.
Muscle scraping is commonly used to treat:
- Muscle tightness and stiffness
- Scar tissue and soft tissue adhesions
- Tendinopathies
- Sports-related muscle injuries
- Chronic musculoskeletal pain

Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS)
TENS is a therapy that uses low-voltage electrical currents delivered through electrodes placed on the skin to relieve pain. It works by stimulating nerves and reducing the perception of pain, while also promoting muscle relaxation.
TENS is commonly used to treat:
- Acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain
- Neck and back pain
- Joint pain from osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis
- Post-surgical pain
- Sports-related injuries

Paraffin Wax Bath
Wax therapy is a form of heat therapy which stimulates the superficial capillaries and arterioles causing an increase in blood supply to the area. Mild heat can give a sedative effect on the sensory nerve endings in the area, and following a wax treatment, the skin is more pliable which therefore helps to soften adhesions and scars in the skin aiding in mobilizing and stretching procedures. It can be used for:
- Osteoarthritis
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Fibromyalgia
- Joint Stiffness
- Muscle Soreness (post-fracture, sprain, or strain)

Kinesio Taping
Kinesiology Taping is a rehabilitative method used to facilitate the body's natural healing process, while providing support and stability to muscles and joints. Taping is usually used to change Muscle Tone, Move Lymphatic Fluids and Correct Movement Patterns. Also, it is used to decrease pain, reduce swelling, and improve functionality.
- Change Muscle Tone
- Move Lymphatic Fluids
- Correct Movement Patterns
- Decrease Pain
- Reduce Swelling
- Improve Functionality
